About Richard Fletcher

I am a photographer and Animal Hospital Administrator in lower Fairfield County Connecticut. My wife Kathi and I also run a horse farm/riding stable and the combination of my love of photography and animals made for a perfect combination. I was able to enjoy my biggest passions at the same time.

In 2004 I bought my first DSLR and thought about photography more seriously. I began to shoot dog events; flyball, Frisbee and free style dance. Through contacts in the animal hospital, I also started doing pet portraits. I have had images used as cover shots for “The Bagpiper Magazine” a Scottish Terror publication and my pictures have been used as profile shots for show dog directories.

Through my photography, I capture the feeling and beauty of life's moments a fraction of a second at a time.
